Amagai's bakkoutou can weaken the power of a Zanpakutou user but it doesn't have no effect on Ichigo because he uses his hollow transformation. Thus, he was able to fight Amagai and gets stronger at the same time, weakening the effect of bakkoutou by using his transformation to his advantage. One more episode I think, before this arc ends but I'm not sure if there'll be a release this week.
