Anime Voice

Midori joined an eating contest and ended up having stomach pains. She ended up in a hospital and called for Ran. Ran hurried there in a worry only to find out Midori's life was not really in danger. While she strolled on the hospitals hallway, she saw a ghost pointing her to a room of guy who's been in an accident earlier. In his arm, a face appeared on the swelling area. A flashback of memories and a ghost of a girl calls for Ran.

Ran found Reika's brother on the same place she was held when she was kidnapped. While she finds a way to get out of there, she saw Shimotsuki and Reika talking on the room next door and saw that Shimotsuki has a special ability too that she used on Reika. Shimotsuki thinks of her as his daughter Michiko who died years ago due to lack medical treatment.

A classmate of Rin asked Ran, Rui and Midori to help search for her brother who was missing for 3 days already. Her brother was a reporter and got involved in a case. So they set off to the village of Three Eyes Clan to search for the brother's whereabouts. Rumor has it that members of Three Eyes Clan brought misfortunes to the village and even though they were all banished, the curse was still in the village.

Every year, Ran's town celebrates a fireworks display. Ran invited Midori but she couldn't get ahold of her. It seems she has forgotten her telephatic powers which is the easiest way to contact Midori. In the end, they met together at the fireworks display, by accident. They were both glad and ended up teasing each other.


Random Thoughts:

This was just an ordinary episode. No enemies or any mysterious occurances to solve. And no telepathic powers to be used. I guess, this was to show how strongly the bonds between Ran and Midori since they became friends. And how things changed for Midori when she befriends Ran.

Ran's father was invited by his college colleague to visit the village of Hayate. However, when Ran, Midori and Rui went there, they encountered some village people under hypnosis and warned them not to stay longer on Hayate. Wanting to find the mystery about the village and the Emahi Grass which is said that can be used to control people, Ran, Midori and Rui stayed to investigate.

Ran also told her brother Rin that she has a telepathic power and he was actually amazed and proud of her. Together, they went to look for Rui and found him unconscious in the hands of the masked man on their school's rooftop building. Midori appeared later to help Ran saved Rui.

Random Thoughts:

So I'm enjoying it a lot better than I expected. Although the action scenes are quite slow, I'm still interested and amazed because of the artwork. It's really something.

Ran told Rui about her new found abilities. Rui said no matter what kind of power she possess, Ran is herself. Ran pointed it out on Midori, too. It turned that Midori just bullied her because she cared about what might happen to her. A mysterious masked man appeared to test out Ran's power only to discover that Rui has something mysterious about him and, thus, kidnapped him.

Random Thoughts:

It's gotten pretty interesting. In midst of danger, Ran emits a light and turned the enemy back to normal. It seems her power is not only hearing thoughts. Rui himself is mysterious as to why Ran couldn't hear his thoughts. His background is not well known too. Anyway, that's something we'll find out in the future episodes.

Ran has the ability to read other people's thoughts and Midori, another girl with the same ability as her is bullying her so that she release her true powers. Midori is doing that by hurting Ran's childhood friend and love interest Rui Ayase...


Random Thoughts:

Due to lack of ongoing animes to watch, I decided to try this out and it didn't fail me. It's pretty interesting and has lots of mysteries. First episode is really promising so I'll be following it for a while I guess. I also have no complain with the graphics, really.
