It was over yet it was one of the best ending I've ever seen. Lelouch used his geass on Nunnally as he realized what Nunnally wants to accomplish. When the effect of Geass disappeared, Nunnally could only say how evil he is. Lelouch has both the Damocles and the FLEIJA Warheads and Schneizel was his slave so the Black Knights were defeated. He ordered the whole world to obey him.

Two Months later, Lelouch as the leader and enemy of the world, marched on a parade towards the execution of all those who opposed him. A man in Zero's suit suddenly appeared and killed Lelouch. Now, all the hatred towards him would disappear along with his death. And that was the Zero Requiem.
