It's summer vacation, Makimura Koutarou decided to confess his love to his crush Serizawa Kaho but on the night before that, after sending his childhood friend, Senou Ai, home, Kotarou bumped into a strange girl and broke her hourglass, scattering the sand all over him. This little incident caused him to be able to travel and skip through time when he sleeps or lost consciousness.

In the future, Kotarou found out Kaho becomes his girlfriend and goes out with her during holidays. His sensei Tomo-chan phrased it as "Day Drops" because he drops on random dates. And on the last day of summer, Kaho got into a tragic accident and died. When Kotarou returned to his own time, Koutarou promise himself to do everything he can to change the future and save Kaho no matter what.

Opinion:

When I read the story somewhere, I really got interested because I love this type of animes. I had hoped that this would be worth a try and it did although I'm a little disappointed because it only has 2 episodes. The author weren't able to emphasize more of the character's personalities because things has to happen so fast. Also, I didn't feel much romance in the anime because I didn't get that rushed feeling after something good happens when pertaining to someone's love relationship. Usually, when there's a romance blooming between characters, I feel like I'm the one falling in love.

But overall, I liked it. The character designs were good and the soundtracks were not bad if I do say so. The plot and setting also fit so I don't have any other rants aside from the two I've already said. Give it a try and find for yourself if it's good or not. I hope you enjoy it.
